In February we went out to La Grange, Texas for a photo shoot that was used in the making of this site!

It took place at Timeless Texas Classics! If you have not had a chance to stop by, you should make it a point. For those of you who do not live in Texas...La Grange is a great small Texas town smack-dab in between Austin and Houston.

The beautiful weather and overcast skies allowed us a great photo session with Laura Roberts! Check out her great work she did for us...Click Here!

We truly appreciate the great work she did on the shoot!

To add to the incredible weather and photographer we were also blessed with superior surroundings for our shots!

Lance Herrington, owner of Timeless Texas Classics, has one of the more interesting stories when it comes to starting your own business doing something you love to do! We not only thank him from the bottom of our hearts for letting us trek all across his property taking photos but we also want him to know that his story of doing what you love to do...is something that inspires us!

Lance started the company in his garage in 1983, doing repairs and some minor paint, body and interior work.

In 1984, he decided to invest all of his efforts and open a Thunderbird shop. He named it Thunderbirds Southwest. Initially he only worked on 1955-1966 Thunderbirds, but eventually expanded the services to include 1967-1976 Thunderbirds and 1949-1967 Ford passenger cars.

JWBpic7Since he was able to supply the needed parts for these vehicles, he had requests from customers for "upgrades" such as better handling, modern radios, interiors, cooling systems, etc. He approached different manufacturers in the industry and had them produce his designs and ideas. They wholesale these items to most of the other Thunderbird and Ford parts houses.

From its humble beginnings, Thunderbirds Southwest grew into a combined 13,000 square feet on two acres in Sugar Land, Texas, a suburb of Houston. Within a very short time, the company had developed a reputation of quality and craftsmanship, and were having vehicles sent to them for restoration from as far away as France. By this time they were also selling the special interest vehicles worldwide.

Once again thanks to all involved!
